Sydney FC’s Charlie Rule has completed a transfer to Women’s Super League club Brighton and Hove Albion.
The 20-year-old attacking full back leaves after three seasons having won three Premierships and one Championship.
Rule is the latest Sky Blues Women’s player who has attracted attention in Europe following an unsurpassed period of domination.
She leaves thankful for the opportunity to play at Australia’s most successful club.
“There is an incredible culture and professionalism at Sydney FC which breeds success, and it has been an honour to represent the Sky Blue jersey.
“I am excited about my next challenge but will miss every aspect of playing for Sydney FC.”

The TikTok star joins former Sky Blue players including; Caitlin Foord, Mackenzie Hawkesby, Sarah Hunter, Claire Wheeler, Remy Siemsen, Ally Green, Alanna Kennedy, Chloe Logarzo and Deborah-Anne De La Harpe who have all secured professional contracts overseas from Sydney FC.
Rule played 45 times for Sydney FC, scoring three goals.
