Sydney FC’s Round of 32 Australia Cup clash with Central Coast Mariners has been scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday 31st July with a 4pm kick off at Leichhardt Oval.

The Sky Blues face the Mariners, who controversially defeated Steve Corica’s side 1-0 in last season’s semi-final through a disputed penalty call, before losing the Final.
This season’s clash comes a lot earlier and will be the first competitive game of the new campaign; a match up Head Coach Corica is relishing.
“These clashes against the Mariners are always entertaining, and it’s great to have something in the diary to plan for,” he said.
“Last time out we won 5-0 at their place, and when we played them at Leichhardt Oval in January, it was a fantastic end to end game which we won 3-2.
“This clash is still just under four weeks away and we’re already back in pre-season training, so we’ll be ready for it.”
The game is scheduled to be played on MatchDay 4 of this season’s Australia Cup and ticket details will be announced shortly.
