Sydney FC Foundation to host Doubleheader matchday

Sydney FC Foundation is to be the matchday partner of Sydney FC for the first time in Saturday’s Doubleheader against Newcastle Jets (ALW) and Western United (ALM) at Allianz Stadium (5:05pm & 7.45pm kick offs).

The Sydney FC Foundation’s mission is to positively impact the lives of youth and the Sky Blue Community, now and into the future, one pass at a time.

The Foundation is excited to share its inaugural impact report ahead of the game later this week, which will detail the incredible work of the Foundation across the wider Sydney community in 2022.

It will include details of our Community Powerchair Football Program, our She Can and Memorable Experiences Programs, as well as the Foundation’s objectives for 2023.

Participants enjoy Sydney FC Foundation’s Disability Gala day at Allianz Stadium in December.

To show their support, the Club will be donating $1 per ticket sold for the match to the Foundation.

Members and fans can also support the Sydney FC Foundation on the day by buying raffle tickets at the ground to win a premium, hand-crafted replica model of Allianz Stadium, produced by Stadiums For Ants.

“We are so excited ahead of our inaugural foundation match day,” said Sydney FC Foundation Chair, Jenny Abood.

“There will be various opportunities to help us positively impact and change lives, one pass at a time. Keep a look out across the stadium for raffles, signed footballs and more,” she added.

As well as the impact report, the Foundation will be sharing more information on its plans for the matchday in the build-up to the games as well as the work that they hope to achieve in the community with your support.

The Sydney FC Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Sydney FC, a non-for-profit organisation.

You can make a tax-deductible donation to the Foundation today. All support is greatly appreciated.

All tax-deductible receipts are processed on Sydney FC Foundation’s behalf by the Australian Sports Foundation.
