Sydney FC has achieved their Membership target for the 2015/16 season, with the Sky Blues surpassing 13,000 Members for the first time in their history on Monday.
It marks the fourth season in a row that the Sky Blues have exceeded their Membership record, with Sydney FC already breaking the 12,000 mark, and their previous record, at the commencement of the current Hyundai A-League 2015/16 campaign.
Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata said he was delighted to have achieved the Membership target for season 2015/16.
“Our Members are the backbone of the club and their support is truly appreciated and well received by the players and staff,” Pignata said.
“I’m extremely delighted that our Sky Blue family continues to grow, and it’s great to see so many new and returning faces at Allianz Stadium each season.
“The colour and atmosphere our Members bring to each game spurs the team on as our 12th man, and we need that support even more now as we continue our push for the Finals Series this season.”
