Sydney FC Smash Membership Target Six Weeks From First Game

Liberty A-League Champions Sydney FC has smashed its Target 1000 Membership campaign reaching a massive 1,369 Memberships with six weeks still to go until the first game of the season.

The ‘Double Winners’ have experienced a 400%+ increase on last season’s number and expect a bumper crowd at Allianz Stadium for the season opener against Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday 14th October.

The Sky Blues have harnessed the power of the women’s football movement and are encouraging fans to ‘Don’t Stop Now’ and continue their football journey following the success of the FIFA Women’s World CupTM.

Some of the country’s best female footballers will play in the Liberty A-League this season and it’s a golden opportunity for fans to see them week in, week out.

Sydney FC Captain Natalie Tobin is encouraging more fans to buy Memberships after breaking the Sky Blues target.

Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Adam Santo says the growth doesn’t end having reached the target.

“To smash our target six weeks out is a fantastic achievement from our team,” he said.

“Women’s football is booming and I’d say to anyone who enjoyed the World Cup fever ‘don’t stop supporting it now’.

Sydney FC are looking to become the first A-League Women’s team to win back to back doubles.

Purchasers have come from far and wide including California in the USA, Norway and Hong Kong.

Sydney FC Captain Natalie Tobin is delighted by the support the squad has received.

“It is amazing to see the amount of people who have signed up for a Membership to support us and we’d love to get as many Members as we can,” she said.

“I’m delighted to see the likes of Cortnee [Vine] and fellow Matilda Tameka Yallop sign up to play in the Liberty A-League this season.

Sydney FC are looking to become the first team in Liberty A-League history to achieve a back to back double by defending both their Premiership and Championship titles.

Fans can get behind the Sky Blues Double-winning Women for less than $11 a game with our Women’s Memberships.

Kids under 16 will go for free with the Liberty A-League Pass including entry to all Liberty A-League games around the country.

A Men’s full season Membership includes all 13 home Isuzu UTE A-Leagues home games and 11 Women’s Liberty A-League games.

They are available from $305 for Adults and $150 for Juniors.
