Sydney FC have gone down in their first AFC Champions League game against Korean powerhouse Suwon Bluewings at Allianz Stadium.
Suwon notched two second half goals including a penalty after Brandon O’Neill was adjudged to have handled in the area.
Montenegrin Dejan Damjanovic scored both goals as the Sky Blues look forward to next week’s second game away to Shanghai Shenhua in China.

35’ KI JE CHANCE – A Ki Hun through ball finds Ki Je in space but he blazes over when bearing down on goal.
45’ DA SILVA CHANCE – A ball across the box finds its way to Da Silva who’s shot takes a deflection off the Zullo before finding its way into the hands of Redmayne.
73’ ZULLO TACKLE ON THE LINE – Ki Hun fires across goal but the ball is deflected and falls to Waguininho at the back post with an open goal but he hesitates and Zullo is in quickly to clear.
74’ GREAT SAVE REDMAYNE – The ball is headed back into the box to Dejan who turned and hits it first time but Redmayne puts out a hand to save.
