Sydney FC have set a new record for FFA Cup football defeating Darwin Rovers 8-0 at the Darwin Football Stadium.

Four goals from Bobô, (equalling a record for goals in an FFA Cup match) added to strikes from David Carney, Matt Simon, Jordy Buijs and Milos Ninkovic secured the win.
The record surpasses the previous record of 6-0 in the competition by Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Strikers.

“Bobô scored four goals and didn’t want to come off, he was excellent tonight.
“We are heading in the right direction and it was also great to see some of our young players perform so well.

57′ BUIJS GOAL – Buijs latches onto a loose ball before firing in low.
72′ NINKOVIC GOAL – Ninkovic puts his name on the score sheet as he sweeps home Lokolingoy’s cut back.
76′ BOBÔ GOAL – The striker bags his third firing low and in after released by Carney.
82′ BOBÔ RECORD EQUALLING STRIKE – Brazilian bags another one with a cool finish.
