Sydney FC have secured Sydney Cricket & Sports Ground Trust (SCGT), Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) and Greater Western Sydney Giants Chairman Tony Shepherd as the keynote speaker at the club’s exclusive 2018/19 Season Launch at The Star, Sydney on Wednesday 17 October.
Sydney FC have secured Sydney Cricket & Sports Ground Trust (SCGT), Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) and Greater Western Sydney Giants Chairman Tony Shepherd as the keynote speaker at the club’s exclusive 2018/19 Season Launch at The Star, Sydney on Wednesday 17 October.
Shepherd will appear alongside the Sky Blues’ Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League squads on stage at The Star, Sydney as we officially commence proceedings for the 2018/19 season, with Fox Sports personality Adam Peacock as the day’s MC.
The Sydney businessman, former Transfield Chairman and former President of the Business Council of Australia, will address those in attendance and discuss at length the upgrade and renewal of sporting infrastructure in Sydney, including the rebuilding of Allianz Stadium among other topics, in what will be a fascinating insight into the future of Sydney FC and the future of infrastructure Australia wide.
Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Danny Townsend thanked Shepherd for joining the Sky Blues’ Season Launch.

The Sky Blues’ Season Launch will see both the A-League and W-League playing squads and staff presented on stage, with Head Coaches Steve Corica, Ante Juric and both team Captains hosting Q&A sessions on stage too.
