Sydney FC Chairman Scott Barlow is pleased to announce influential business leader and Aussie Home Loans Executive Chairman John Symond will make the key note address at the first Sydney FC in Business lunch of 2016.
Credited with bringing competition to the Australian home lending industry, Symond is a well-known consumer champion, becoming the first non-banker to be inducted into the Banking and Finance Hall of Fame in 2004 while also becoming a Member of the Order of Australia in 2002.
Sydney FC Chairman Scott Barlow said: “I am delighted to be announcing that John will be our guest speaker and I’d like to thank him for accepting my invitation.
“John is one of the most successful, respected and recognisable businessmen in Australia and his insights will be of great value to our many Sydney FC corporate partners.

Symond will be on hand to divulge his vast array of business knowledge to those in attendance, with Channel Nine personality Ross Greenwood directing proceedings on the day as MC.
And Symond said he was delighted to be attending the Sydney FC In Business lunch.
“Sydney FC are the most recognisable club in the Hyundai A-League and have done more than any other to help the growth of football in this country,” he said.

The event will take place at The Westin, Martin Place on Wednesday 23 March.
