Get ready for a weekend packed with football, fun, and community spirit at our annual Kiama Football Festival.
This exciting event brings young footballers from across the region together for skill-building, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories by the sea.
The festival is open to players aged 6–12 of all skill levels, offering a welcoming and inclusive environment where kids can enjoy the game, develop their skills, and create lasting friendships.
The Kiama Football Festival is designed to focus on community participation, meaning that Junior Development League (JDL), Girls Junior Development League (GJDL), and Private Academy teams are not eligible. This ensures that the event remains grassroots, giving local teams and school groups a chance to compete, play, and enjoy football together.
The festival spans two days at the Kiama Sports Complex, with Saturday dedicated to the Under 7s and Under 9s, and Sunday featuring the Under 10s and Under 12s. Teams are guaranteed at least six games, allowing all players ample time on the field to develop their skills and enjoy the competition.
What Teams Can Expect
Teams participating in the festival can enjoy:
- A mixed 6-a-side tournament, open to boys, girls, and mixed teams
- Opportunities for teams to include players from clubs, schools, or friend groups
- A trophy for the winning team in each age division
- Exclusive Sydney FC giveaways and prizes
- Kids’ activities throughout the day to keep the fun going off the field
- A match day experience at an A-League Men’s or Women’s game (details to be confirmed)
Sydney FC takeover Kiama Leagues Club
After a full day of football, Saturday night Sydney FC invites players and their families to join the Sky Blue night at Kiama Leagues Club, an evening of fun, food, and football-themed entertainment. Highlights of the evening include:
- Player appearances and signing sessions
- Silent Disco and free play EA FC
- Sky Blue menu and meal deals
- Raffle prizes, including signed jerseys, signed Xbox consoles, and 2025/26 match tickets
- Live music from 8:30pm
The evening is designed to celebrate the festival, giving players, families, and supporters a chance to come together, enjoy the club atmosphere, and meet Sydney FC players.
