Sydney FC is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with SIP Energy, who will be continuing as the club’s Official Energy Partner.
The deal reaffirms both organisations’ shared commitment to sustainability and renewable energy innovation.
The partnership builds on SIP Energy’s landmark installation of solar panels at Sky Park – Sydney FC’s state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence in Macquarie Park – which has significantly reduced the club’s carbon footprint and energy costs since the facility’s opening.
Through the renewal, SIP Energy will continue to work closely with Sydney FC to promote clean energy initiatives across the club’s operations, while educating Members and partners about the benefits of sustainable energy solutions.
Sydney FC’s General Manager of Commercial & Marketing Matt Pound said the partnership with SIP Energy is an important pillar in the club’s long-term sustainability strategy.
“We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with SIP Energy, who have played a vital role in powering our home at Sky Park through renewable energy,” he said.
“Their solar installation has made a real impact on our operations, and this renewal is a strong statement of intent — that Sydney FC is committed to leading the way in sustainability within Australian sport.
“Together with SIP Energy, we’ll continue to highlight how technology and innovation can help clubs, communities and businesses reduce their environmental impact.”
SIP Energy will receive branding across Sydney FC’s A-League Men’s and Women’s home matches, including LED perimeter signage, big screen activations and in-stadium engagement pieces at Allianz Stadium and Leichhardt Oval.
The collaboration will also feature digital content initiatives showcasing the success of the Sky Park solar project and promoting sustainable energy to the Sky Blue community through Sydney FC’s website, social media and EDM channels.
This renewal ensures SIP Energy remains a key part of the Sky Blue family, helping to drive Sydney FC’s mission to deliver a more sustainable and energy-efficient future for Australian football.
