Sydney FC’s double Championship and Premiership winning Under Armour 2019/20 playing kit is to adorn the Sky Blues players for another season after a highly successful first year campaign.

In first year of a four-year deal, Sydney FC’s A-League squad completed the double, our W-League team reached a third consecutive Grand Final while the Foxtel Youth League squad were also crowned Champions.

Due to the substantial impact of COVID-19, the second range will be pushed back to launch in year three of the partnership.

Sydney FC will launch a new collection for the 2021/22 season to inject technology and innovation that is synonymous with Under Armour and will feature a new level of design for both players and fans alike.

New silhouettes, embellishments and Under Armour tech, will be a few of the features set to be announced among others in due course.

Under Armour Managing Director Fernando Reani said: “Under Armour is committed to bringing performance solutions to athletes to help them perform at their best.

“We are proud to be Sydney FC partners celebrating fantastic wins in the first year of the partnership and, despite the challenges presented by the global pandemic, are really excited to bring to the club new technology, innovation and design into the 2021/22 collection.”

Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Danny Townsend is looking forward to what will soon be on offer.

“The current Under Armour Sydney FC jersey holds a special place in our club and we will defend our title wearing it for the second year.

“We understand the impact that COVID-19 has had and we’re always happy to work with the partners who have committed to our club.

“The second range has been in production with Under Armour for many months already and we are excited to share it with the team and fans. The next kit will see our partnership go to the next level for year 3.”

Under Armour’s partnership with Sydney FC was the first sports team partnership for the global sports brand in Australia when it was launched in July 2019.
