“Sydney FC has Members and fans from all over Sydney and this match is a great opportunity for those who live in Sydney-s west to watch Alessandro Del Piero, Brett Emerton and the rest of the Sydney FC team at ANZ Stadium,” said Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata.
“Allianz Stadium is unavailable due to the annual turf replacement. We have had tremendous interest from a lot of venues from all over the greater Sydney area and we are happy to play at ANZ Stadium.”
Emerton, who hails from Campbelltown will be joined on 28 October by fellow Sydney-based Sky Blues Ivan Necevski, Sebastian Ryall, Nathan Sherlock, Adam Griffiths, Dimi Petratos, Blake Powell, Mitch Mallia, Joel Chianese, Terry Antonis, Trent McClenahan, Vedran Janjetovic, Rhyan Grant, Hagi Gligor and Daniel Petkovski.

Sydney FC has played two previous matches at ANZ Stadium, which were both exhibition games.
The Sky Blues played the David Beckham-led LA Galaxy in front of an Australian record club football match crowd of 80,295 in 2007 while in 2010 Sydney FC took on Tim Cahill-s Everton, in front of 40,446 fans.
