Sydney FC Partners With Global Manufacturer Nexen Tire

Sydney FC has signed a new partnership with globally recognised Korean company, Nexen Tyre, as the club’s Official Tyre Partner.

The leading global tyre manufacturer have a rich history in sports sponsorship, including its ongoing partnership with Manchester City which began in 2015.

They made history in 2017 when they became the English Premier League’s first ever sleeve sponsor on the City jersey.

Nexen Tyre also have partnerships with Juventus and Slavia Prague in football, as well links in US Baseball, US Ice Hockey and the US LPGA players.

This extensive experience underscores Nexen’s dedication to fostering impactful and enduring partnerships, making them an ideal fit for Sydney FC.

The partnership is an initial two-year term with the option for a third year and will focus on delivering branding and activation initiatives designed to engage fans and amplify the presence of both brands.

The first activation will take place during Sydney FC’s clash with Western United on Saturday 14th December.

“Nexen Tyre’s reputation for excellence and their proven track record in sports make them a perfect partner for us.

“Together, we aim to deliver exceptional value and memorable experiences for our fans while showcasing Nexen Tyre to new audiences across Australia and beyond.”

At the forefront of the agreement is premium stadium exposure, with LED branding and a TV commercial at Allianz Stadium on gameday.

Nexen Tyre will also enjoy prominent visibility at Leichhardt Oval for the Sky Blues A-League Women’s matches.

In addition to branding, the partnership will provide interactive fan experiences with half-time activations at selected matches to engage Sydney FC Members and fans, as well as premium match-day experiences.

It further extends to digital platforms, with branded content showcased across Sydney FC’s social media channels.
