Sydney FC’s Westfield W-League squad have been handed an early Grand Final rematch, with the Sky Blues to face Melbourne City this Thursday night at AAMI Park.
With Perth unable to travel for the midweek fixture, the schedule has been changed to accommodate Sydney FC, with Head Coach Ante Juric’s side looking to carry their momentum from Sunday’s win to Victoria for the encounter.

Head Coach Ante Juric said he was looking forward to the clash, while cautioning his side not to get complacent against a struggling City outfit.
“The team has had a good start to the season,” Juric said.
“In saying this we know we have not won anything yet and we need to keep putting in maximum effort at high standards to achieve future success.
“This week’s game v City is another important game for us. They may have had a slow start, though in my opinion they are a very good team and are better than what their position on the table reflects. They are an opponent we respect.
“We will look to continue to improve as a team on the park, and clearly we want to keep winning and picking up valuable points during the season,” he continued.
“All this comes back to effort and working hard for each other in every game.”
Melbourne City have won only once in their six matches played so far this season, drawing one game and losing four.
The Sky Blues home W-League game against Brisbane Roar on Sunday 14th February has been confirmed to take place at Leichhardt Oval (4pm kick off).
Sydney FC, meanwhile, lead the table with four wins from four games and enter the clash high on confidence after defeating the Newcastle Jets at Cromer Park on Sunday 2-0.
