In a repeat of last year’s Round of 32 clash, Sydney FC will host the Central Coast Mariners in the Australia Cup.
With the Sky Blues owning ball number five in the draw, they were pulled out for the six match and met the Central Coast Mariners.
Both sides met in the Round of 32 last year and the contest was decided via penalties after the game finished 3-3 after the 90 minutes. Goals to Adam Le Fondre, Anthony Caceres and Max Burgess put Sydney into a 3-1 lead however were pegged back late on and needed 12 yards to get the job done.
This time around, the Sky Blues will be hoping to finish the match in the 90 minutes but they know that will be a tough ask with the Mariners winning the Isuzu UTE A-League Championship.
Fixture details for this clash will be confirmed in due course.
