LE FONDRE CHANCE 52’ – Elvis Kamsoba finds space down the right wing, his cross is met by Le Fondre but the striker can’t get enough on it to find the target.
BURGESS CHANCE 76’ – Max Burgess shoots from just outside the box which narrowly misses the goal.

Sydney controlled possession early on and took the lead after Harry Van Der Saag found space in the box to cut back for Adam Le Fondre to tuck it past Wellington goalkeeper Oli Sail.
The Sky Blues almost doubled their lead on the stroke of half time when Milos Ninkovic danced past the Phoenix defence to slide in Kosta Barbarouses who had his shot saved by Sail.
Sydney started the second half with intent. Elvis Kamsoba found himself in space on the right wing who whipped in a cross for Le Fondre who was unlucky to not put the ball in the back of the net.
Max Burgess was the next to go close when he saw his curled effort narrowly miss the goal which had Sail beaten.
