What They Said: Steve Corica: “Perth is not an easy place to come to keep clean sheets and the win was very good.

It feels very nice, we needed the three points.

“We had a good win in mid-week in the Champions League and that gave us confidence.

“The goals were well taken in transition moments.

“We’ve missed Kosta for a long part of the start of the season and to see him back and scoring was great.

“We will now miss Kosta for one or two games with the NZ national team.

“Narsingh has only been here a short time and his fitness needs to improve.

“He made some good chances and just needs more games to build his fitness.

“Yazbek has been injured and good to have him back. He’s good on the ball and gets forward as well.

“Talbot put in a good shift and set up the first goal and he’s doing exceptionally well.

“We have a lot of games coming up so it’s good to have the ability for rotation.

“Andrew Redmayne made his first appearance and clean sheet for Sydney FC at HBF Park so it is fitting that he breaks our record tonight.

“He is a wonderful goalkeeper.”

Patrick Yazbek hustles Keogh

Patrick Yazbek: “It’s definitely a great win.

“I just won the ball in the middle I and wanted to put a seal on the game and I just took it.

“In this league a win or two in a row takes us up there and we’ll be there.”
