After progressing through to the Quarter Finals with a professional performance against Sydney United 58, Sydney FC will lock horns with Auckland FC.
The Kiwis eased past South Melbourne on Wednesday night, winning 3-0 and set up a tantalising tie with the Sky Blues, the highlight tie of the last 8.
Despite Auckland being drawn as the home team, hailing from New Zealand, they cannot host the match and instead, Sydney FC will be the home team, with the match played in Sydney.
The match has been scheduled for Saturday 23rd of August 2025, kicking off at 7:30pm AEST with the stadium still to be confirmed, however it will be played within Sydney.
