Sydney FC and Kennards Hire have agreed a new four-year partnership which will see the leading family-owned equipment hire group extend their deal with the Sky Blues to seven years, making them the longest serving Premium Partner in the club’s history.

Kennards Hire are one of the most trusted and recognisable brands in the equipment hire industry and have become synonymous with the Sky Blues since coming on board in 2017.

Their logo will remain a fixture on Sydney FC’s Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League shirts until the end of the 2023/24 season.

Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Danny Townsend says the renewal shows a fantastic long-term commitment to Sydney FC and Australian football by a renown and successful company.

“Kennards Hire have been an excellent partner for a number of seasons and I’m delighted to extend our relationship to a record seventh year,” he said.

“We’ve enjoyed plenty of success together, and it’s an absolute pleasure to work with Angus Kennard and his team.

“Building strong and long-term partnerships between two family orientated organisations who work together to champion football is exactly what we want.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Kennards Hire for the better of the game and would like to officially recognise and congratulate them on extending their time with the Sky Blue Family.”

Kennards Hire CEO Angus Kennard said he was excited for the future after securing an extension to the partnership.

“The Sydney FC relationship is a natural extension of our family-owned company values and we are pretty excited about backing both the A-League and W-League,” he said.

“It has been a highly successful partnership in recent times from both our points of view and we’re delighted to be able to continue to support the number one football club in this country.”

Kennards Hire’s new partnership was officially commemorated at today’s Sydney FC in Business Lunch, with the company’s CCO Theo Triantafillides presented with a framed Sydney FC 2019/20 jersey by Sky Blues CEO Danny Townsend.
