The Sydney FC Strings will rock Allianz Stadium with an electric performance before kick-off at the massive Sydney Derby this Saturday.
The six-piece group, backed by DJ Rayne, are playing a mix of modern tracks in front of an expected capacity crowd.
Each musician has been hand selected by the musical director of the Vixen Strings, Dora Maria, to create a unique and stunning performance before the biggest football game of the season.
The Sydney FC Strings show comes just weeks after the club launched their return to the Allianz Stadium with a full orchestra.
Members were wowed by the different approach to pre-match entertainment and requested more of the same at future games.
Sydney FC’s logo includes an image of the Opera House prompting the club to introduce a classical element with a twist to regular match days.
Fans at the Sydney Derby will also be entertained on their way into Allianz Stadium by the Hot Potato Band and DJs, while Nova 96.9 are taking over the Junior Blue Fan Zone for the day!
Top Australian DJs Peking Duk have created a Derby playlist, including their new single Spend It, which will be played throughout the day inside the stadium.
Sydney FC fans can also donate their Milos Ninkovic shirts to charity before the game and receive a bag of lollies and a discount in the club shop.
