Sydney FC’s Sky Blue in Schools program has enjoyed a fantastic start to Term 2, engaging students across more than 20 schools throughout the club’s catchment area.
From the Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs to Western Sydney and the Sutherland Shire, Sydney FC coaches have been bringing the Sky Blue experience directly into school communities, helping students stay active, develop new skills and enjoy the game of football in a fun and inclusive environment.
Designed to encourage participation, confidence and teamwork, the Sky Blue in Schools program provides students of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to learn through sport while developing fundamental movement and football skills.
Delivered by Sydney FC’s qualified coaching team, each session combines football-based activities with skill development, teamwork and plenty of fun. Whether students are taking their first kick of a football or refining advanced techniques, the program creates a positive environment where everyone can participate, challenge themselves and enjoy being active alongside their classmates.
Throughout Term 2, schools have embraced the program with enthusiasm both on and off the field. Coaches have worked closely with students to improve coordination, communication and confidence, while fostering a supportive atmosphere where every child feels encouraged to get involved.
More than just a football program, Sky Blue in Schools is focused on inspiring healthy habits, building friendships and creating memorable experiences through sport. Through PE lessons, gala days, football clinics and tailored school programs, Sydney FC continues to strengthen its connection with students, teachers and school communities across Sydney.
With bookings now open for 2026, schools still have the opportunity to be part of the Sky Blue in Schools experience. Programs can be tailored to suit individual school needs, providing flexible and engaging football opportunities throughout the year.
