Sydney FC’s top of the table trend shows no signs of abating, as the Sky Blues Westfield W-League and Foxtel National Youth League squads join the Hyundai A-League squad at the top of their tables.

If results continue on their upward trend, the unprecedented could happen with all three Sky Blues’ squads in line to claim their respective Premierships.

No club has led all three competitions in the one season, however clubs have led the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League concurrently in the past.

Sydney FC’s Hyundai A-League squad remain five points clear at the top of the table, undefeated to date in the league, and breaking Australian national football records that are more than 40 years old.

The Sky Blues are still on course to break APIA Leichhardt’s all-time record of going the first 20 league games of the season unbeaten and will carry their form into Friday night’s home clash against Adelaide United at Allianz Stadium (kick off 7:50pm).

Sydney FC’s Westfield W-League squad have two matches remaining in the regular season, and a win in their final home match on Saturday against Newcastle, coupled with other results going their way, will see Head Coach Dan Barrett claim his first piece of silverware.

In the Foxtel National Youth League, Sydney FC sit joint top of the table with the Central Coast Mariners, who they face in their final match of the season on Saturday afternoon. A draw will see Head Coach Rob Stanton’s outfit clinch their second successive Grand Final appearance.

Sydney FC Assistant Coach and former Foxtel National Youth League Head Coach Steve Corica said it was an achievement to be heralded.

“It’s fantastic,” Corica said.

“All teams have a shot at winning the title which would be a first for the club and an amazing achievement for all involved.

“It’s testament to the hard work from all the players, coaching staff and everyone involved at the club.

“At the moment no one has won anything however, but it’s a positive that all teams are doing so well.”

Sydney FC take on Adelaide United in Harvey Norman Friday night football at Allianz Stadium (kick off 7:50pm). Be there to back you undefeated Sky Blues against the reigning Hyundai A-League Champions.
