Sydney FC have received an injury boost ahead of Saturday’s crucial clash with Melbourne City at AAMI Park with a number of players set to be given the green light.
The Sky Blues will welcome back Polish striker Patryk Klimala from a niggling knee injury which Head Coach Ufuk Talay described as ‘a cyst’ following the recent 3-2 win over Newcastle Jets.
The frontman is the Sky Blues’ second top scorer this season behind Academy graduate Adrian Segecic and his return will give the squad extra firepower, as they search for the point which will secure their Finals qualification.

Winger Joe Lolley is also expected to be in contention for the all-important match despite coming off against Western United with a groin injury.
With everything on the line, the Englishman is likely to travel to the Victorian capital this week barring any further set-backs.
Another boost comes in the form of returning midfielder Corey Hollman who has successfully recovered from an ankle injury against the Jets.

He will be in contention for a number six spot and could potentially line up alongside Brazilian midfielder Leo Sena.
29-year-old Sena is recovering well from his calf strain and while he will still be ‘touch-and-go’ for Saturday he is expected to be named in the extended squad again on Thursday.
