The Sky Blues will head west to face the side managed by former Perth Glory defender cum striker and Fox Sports commentator Jamie Harnwell.

They currently sit sixth on the NPL WA ladder and have won five, drawn three and lost four of their 12 league games this season.

It will be a long trip for Graham Arnold’s men but one the Head Coach is relishing.

“It will certainly be a good test for us so soon into our pre-season campaign,” he said.

“Sorrento will be fired up and they will be match fit and ready to go with their season in full swing.

“But it will also be our first competitive game in almost three months so our boys will be up for it and wanting to put on a show.

“It will also be good for a bit of team building as our new players will have joined us by then and it will be good for them to gel and get to know the culture of the team.

“We look forward to the challenge.”

Sorrento FC’s home ground which is at Percy Doyle Reserve in Duncraig, approximately 17 kilometres North of Perth, didn’t meets the criteria set down by FFA regulations to host the game.
