Sydney FC star Remy Siemsen is looking to set a personal piece of history on Saturday in the Big Blue, as she eyes off her first ever title win in the Westfield W-League.
The Manly junior is yet to enjoy silverware with the Sky Blues, and with only a win separating the squad from the Premiership, Siemsen has vowed to do everything she can to lay her hands on the title.

“Personally, for me it’d be huge, it’d be my first piece of silverware in the Westfield W-League ever,” Siemsen said.
“I’m really going to be pushing for that and I know that Teresa [Polias] has instilled a lot of confidence in us to do that.
“We hope to make the club proud and it would be a good achievement for the season we’ve had so far.
“We couldn’t be any more proud of the season we’ve had but there’s a lot to do and we know the job isn’t done yet. We want to be lifting up the Premiership and Championship trophy at the end of the season.”
Saturday’s clash at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium represents another milestone for Siemsen, as she prepares for her 50th Westfield W-League match for Sydney FC, adding to the sense of occasion already in store.
And if title success and an appearance milestone aren’t enough, Siemsen is also eyeing off the Westfield W-League Golden Boot, with the Sky Blues’ number 10 having already matched her return from Season 2019/20.
“I didn’t know it was my 50th game for Sydney FC this weekend but that makes the occasion even more special,” she said.
“It’ll be extra motivation to get the three points and lift that trophy.
“I said before the season started, I put together a few small goals and one was to beat last season’s goal tally and do my job well for the team,” she continued.
“I hope that I can beat that tally and give golden boot a run.”
