Semi-Final Ticket FAQ’s

The Member pre-sale for our Isuzu UTE A-League Semi Final first leg against Melbourne City will go on sale on Monday 9th May at 12pm.

We aim to answer all of your questions in this article, to ensure you enjoy a smooth purchase experience.

How do I purchase my same reserved seat from the regular Isuzu UTE A-League 2022/23 Season?

For those Members with reserved seats, you will need to enter your Membership barcode (12 digits) into the password box displayed on the event page using this link. Your Membership code was sent via email by Monday May 8 and is the same barcode on the back of your Membership Card.

What password do I use to ensure I get my same seat for Sydney FC Home Finals? 

All 22/23 Members will receive an email from the club with all the information they need to know for purchasing tickets. The password is the barcode on the back of your Membership Card. If you have friends/family with a barcode but not an allocated seat, their barcode will not work.

For ALL Sydney FC Reserved Seat Members wanting to purchase their SAME SEAT, you will need to enter your barcode into the password section using this link.

How do I purchase tickets?

Online via the Ticketek Website – enter your Membership barcode.

Visit a Ticketek agency – provide your Membership barcode to the customer operator.

Please note Sydney FC offices ARE NOT a Ticketek agency

General Admission Members will have the opportunity to upgrade to a reserve seat at the time of their Members presale.

How long do I have to purchase my same seat if I am a Reserved Seat Member?
Your Reserved Members seat for the Isuzu UTE A-League 2022/23 Season will be held for you at a Members discounted rate from Monday May 8, 12pm Midday to Tuesday May 9,11:59am.
You may purchase tickets after this time however you will not be able to select your same seat nor receive a discount.

Can I purchase tickets in the pre-sale if I am a General Admission Member?

Yes, you can. Use your Member Codes (Member#/First Name) to access the pre-sale from 12pm on Monday 8 May using this link.

How long do I have to purchase a discounted Member ticket if I am a General Admission Member or do not wish to purchase my same seat?
Your exclusive redemption window to purchase tickets at a Members discounted rate runs from Monday May 8, 12pm  Midday to Tuesday May 9,11:59am
You may purchase tickets after this time however a password will not be needed and the Members discount will no longer apply.

Can I purchase tickets on behalf of other Reserved Seat Members?

Yes, however all passwords must be from consecutive seats if you wish to purchase in one transaction. You will need to enter the Member’s password for each seat you wish to purchase.  Please enter all passwords one under the other in the password box.

I have multiple Memberships/family Memberships and don’t want to purchase our same seats for each Membership. How do I ensure that the ones I do select are seated next to each other?

The ticketing system is very specific, you will need to ensure that you enter the passwords for consecutive seats in your group Membership to ensure you are seated next to each other.

This information will be sent to you in the email from Sydney FC. If you did not receive this email, please confirm with the Primary member of your group as they may have received it on your behalf.

I am a Reserved seat Member and can’t seem to purchase my same seat from the Ticketek website?

The only way to purchase your same seat is by clicking on this link and entering your Member password, the 12 digit barcode on the back of your Member card. This was sent in an email to you directly from the club.

Same seat tickets CANNOT be purchased directly from the Ticketek general event sale.

IMPORTANT: When you purchase your same seat, you will be sent a receipt to HOLD your reserved seat. Later you will be sent your tickets from Ticketek with your seat details.

I do not want to purchase my same seat, can I purchase other tickets?

Yes, you can purchase up to 10 tickets per transaction on a best available basis. Please note this is unlikely to be seated next to your same seat.

How do I purchase additional tickets if I am a Reserved Seat Member?

Additional tickets must be purchased in a separate transaction. Note, it is unlikely to be seated next to your reserved Member seat.

I have purchased my same seat. My receipt of purchase does not state that I have purchased my same seat.

The ticketing system will not display your seat numbers during the time of purchase or on your email confirmation; it will only display the dollar amount of your purchase and that you have a seat.
Once the tickets are sent out you will receive a second confirmation email with your ticketing details and your tickets attached.

If I am a Member and miss the pre-sale, can I still purchase tickets?

Your exclusive redemption window with Member discount runs from 12pm Midday on Monday 8 May 2023 until 11.59AM Tuesday 9 May 2023.
You may purchase in the General Public window, however the Member discount will no longer apply. We cannot guarantee that after the pre-sale closes you will still get your same seat, so we recommend you purchase as soon as tickets go on sale to avoid disappointment.

When do tickets go on-sale to the General Public?

Tickets go on sale to the General Public on Tuesday 9 May at 4PM Sydney time.

What do I do if my Membership code doesn’t work when entered into Ticketek?

Make sure you are not refreshing the screen (this may accidently retire your code). Do not add spaces in your code. If you wait 15 minutes your code should work again. Also make sure you are in the correct event.

Barcodes only work in the Same Seat Event. (Inset same seat event link).

Member Codes (Member#/First Name) only work in the General Event.

If you are still having issues, please email the club via membership@sydneyfc.com and they will be able to assist.

I have purchased my same seat and I still have not received my ticket. What should I do?

All tickets purchased will be emailed to purchasers in the 48 hours prior to the match.

I received my Member email but my password is not working?

Please ensure that you are copying your Membership password EXACTLY how it appears in your email, and you are in the correct event. If you are copying and pasting the password make sure there is no space at the end. If you are still having trouble. Please email membership@sydneyfc.com to have your password resent.

I’m having trouble purchasing tickets, who can I contact?

Please contact Sydney FC at membership@sydneyfc.com and they will be able to assist. Sydney FC can only assist with the provision of Member passwords, and not the actual purchase of tickets. This event is run by APL help@aleagues.com.au

When is the second leg of the Semi-Final?

This takes place at AAMI Park on Friday 19 May with a 7:45pm kick-off.
