Adrian Segecic and Corey Hollman have been named in the Australian U23’s squad that will travel to Qatar for the Doha International Tournament.
This tournament will take place during the March FIFA International Window and will see the two Sky Blues join a 23-player-squad for three matches in the Middle East.
The Olyroos will take on Croatia, UAE and Qatar with Egypt and Thailand making up the other two teams in the competition.
Australian U-23s Head Coach, Tony Vidmar said he was looking forward to facing strong opposition at the beginning of a new cycle.

“This is a great tournament to be a part of and will provide an excellent experience for the group as we work towards our Asian Cup Qualifiers in September,” Vidmar said.
“We’ve brought together a squad who are getting plenty of minutes at their respective clubs and are performing well. We feel the opposition and the conditions they’ll face in Doha offer a different test for them within the national team pathway.
“We want to continue developing these players individually and building depth across the age group, our involvement in this tournament is another important part of that.
“I’m excited by the quality both within this group and on our extended monitoring list and am looking forward to connecting with the players and staff to lay the foundations for the year ahead,” Vidmar concluded.
