Rhyan Grant hits another milestone

On Thursday night against Eastern SC, Rhyan Grant created even more Sydney FC history.

Two seasons prior he surpassed Alex Brosque as the club’s all time appearance maker and since then has continued to set the bench mark for caps.

Rhyan Grant wore the captains armband on the night

As the whistle blew to start the encounter, that became his 350th game for the club in all competitions.

An incredible achievement for the one club servant who first made his debut in Sky Blue in December 2008 and still represents the badge with pride more than 15 years later.

Rhyan has started 310 of the 350 matches he has been involved in, and played 28,318 minutes of senior football in Sky Blue across Australia Cup, Asian competition and A-League.

He has scored 19 goals, two of which came in the A-League Grand Final and he has received 60 yellow cards and only four red cards which is tied with Terry McFlynn for the most for the club.

One of Rhyan’s best strikes came in the FFA Cup

We look forward to seeing how many appearances he will make for the club.
