Sydney FC’s Paulo Retre will miss the Sydney Derby clash with Western Sydney Wanderers this Saturday night after being handed a one match suspension following his red card yesterday against Brisbane Roar.
Retre was sent off in the latter stages of the defeat following a challenge the referee deemed was stopping a goalscoring opportunity.
The midfielder will be available for the club’s next match a friendly against Celtic and the game against Melbourne City following the World Cup break.
