Physio Room: Injury update

Physio Room: Injury update

As the opening match of the Isuzu UTE A-League 2022/23 season against Melbourne Victory approaches, we have a couple of players who are currently on the sidelines but are recovering well.

Here’s an update from our Head Physiotherapist Luke Heath on how they are tracking ahead of the new season.

Luke Brattan

Luke is nine months post ACL reconstruction and his rehab has gone really well. He is back in training and aiming to continue to build towards being available for round one against Melbourne Victory.

Luke will also be hoping to get some minutes under his belt during one of the pre-season friendlies.

In the meantime, he will continue to undergo monitoring and injury management through the rest of the pre-season.

Pat Wood

Pat suffered a fall on his wrist in training which required surgery.

Pat is now two weeks post-surgery and is back in training. He is aiming to be back fit for round one.

Jaiden Kucharski

Jaiden injured his medial knee ligament in training while making a tackle a couple of weeks ago.

Since then, he has started running again and is slowly working his way back to full fitness.

Jaiden will hopefully be available for the opening rounds of the season.
