1. The Mariners have had an interrupted start to the season, do you think this has affected their early results?
I don-t think the off field changes have had any effect on the team. Graham Arnold has announced he is off to Japan but Mossy has picked up 4 points from a possible 6 and should be happy with how he has started. CCM have still a game in hand and if they were to win this game they jump right up the table.
What would coach Phil Moss have done during the week to improve on last weekend showing?
Mossy was not happy with the performance but very happy with the teams defensive performance and I would think he would have worked on transition into attack and moving forward.
Which players would be causing Sydney FC the most concern leading into the match?
Flores in behind the strikers and McGlinchey as he is great on the ball and keeps possession very well.
Last years corresponding fixture produced that amazing 7-2 result, will either team think of that match and use it as motivation?
The result was last season and I am sure CCM have forgotten about the game and will purely focus on the game Saturday night. I think Sydney FC will use the result as a bit of motivation though although they are on a great run of results. Mind you it’s never good to lose 7-2.
Which players will be causing Phil Moss and his staff the most headaches as they attempt to stop Sydney’s four match winning streak?
Bojic on the right hand side as he will be coming to his old stomping ground but I don-t think any one player as Sydney have worked hard as a team to get the four wins in a row.
Will the loss of Del Piero hinder Sydney’s chances of success?
Hes a great player and can turn a game on his own but the confidence that Sydney have gained over the last month will cover them I think. Players like Del Piero will always be missed though.
How do you see the match panning out and who do you think will win?
Tight start to the game and Mariners slowly building into the game. I have to say CCM to will at home 2-1.
