Like her name suggests, there’s a bright future for this exceptionally talented attacking midfielder!

At Just 18, Franco is already a star of the Westfield W-League league and already being talked about as a Matilda in waiting.

Originally from Brisbane, Franco started her W-League career at the Roar, before moving to Sydney FC this season.

And she’s made quite an impact! In her eight games the gifted playmaker has made three interceptions, won two fouls and been involved in 22 duels.

Franco has it all in her game. She is blessed with searing pace, excellent vision and technical ability, is confident on the ball, physically strong and has an eye for goal.

Her leadership is also a feature, having captained Australia at under-17 level, while Franco also scored six goals in one game for the Young Matildas (under-19s) in a match against Singapore last year.

It’s why this classy midfielder is one to watch in the race for the NAB Young Footballer of the Year.
