Sydney FC have been spotted in the most bizarre of circumstances, right at the heart of Nico Hulkenberg’s celebrations.
For those of you wondering who Nico Hulkenberg is, he is a German Formula 1 driver who drives for Kick Sauber and has been involved in the sport for 15 years. In his time which has seen him race 239 times on the grid, he has never finished on the podium, that was until last Sunday when he came 3rd at the British GP.
Upon returning home to Germany with his family, he was surprised by his wife Egle and his daughter Noemi along with a few of his closest friends.
A video circulated around social media of his friends welcoming him home, however some keen eyed supporters spotted his daughter sporting the Sydney FC home kit in the most bizarre of links ever seen in Australian sport.
As the clip continues, the 37 year old picks up his daughter Noemi as his dog does 360 spins and you can clearly see the Sky Blue jersey front and centre.
