The Sky Blues will not reschedule another friendly with Coach Ian Crook satisfied with pre season hit outs against Newcastle Jets, Adelaide United and Brisbane Roar.
“We-re disappointed that the game has been cancelled,” Crook said. “We were looking forward to testing ourselves against a side that has been the benchmark along with Brisbane Roar over the last two seasons.
“I understand they have problems with injuries and felt the need to pull out of the game. We had a similar situation earlier in the pre season. At this stage we-ll just work hard on the training pitch and we won-t be looking to schedule another game.
“We will now focus on the first match of the season against Wellington.”
