Patryk Klimala has taken to life in Sydney very well having scored seven goals in his first eleven games in Sky Blue.
The Polish number nine has also netted in three of his last three matches and will be looking to make that four on Saturday against Western United at Allianz Stadium.
However, he believes he and his team-mates have plenty to improve on.
“We spoke at the beginning of this week about what we need to do and the Coach told us what was wrong and what we did good last time.
“I’ve scored four goals in the league so far and I can’t really remember big chances that I’ve missed but if I had more chances, maybe I would miss more,” Klimala joked.

“Sometimes in front of goal we are maybe trying too hard and are too nervous in the right moment and on Saturday we just need to focus on what we need to do.”
“We need to begin looking up the table at the teams above us rather than who can catch us so if we focus to winning each game, the end of the season will be important for us.
In his last outing at Allianz Stadium, Klimala lit up the stands with a brilliant goal against the Wanderers and sent The Cove crazy with the team’s fourth of the night.
The atmosphere that night was incredible and the Polish star is wanting to see that again when they take on Western United on Saturday.
“The atmosphere inside that stadium was great and the fans will support us no matter what.
“I can feel that support on the streets and people know and support me and are very kind and I am trying to pay them back by scoring goals,” he added.
“We could see the fans after the Mariners game and they will keep supporting us and we want to bounce back on Saturday.”

Finally, his goal scoring form has impressed with four league goals in the Isuzu UTE A-League so far and Klimala revealed the secret to that form.
“The last one and a half years was hard for me mentally because I wasn’t playing too much.
“When you are not playing you don’t have confidence and now I am here I am playing every game and I know that I am going to start every game.
“The team have created plenty of chances for me and they are really good to me. I feel an important part of this team,” Klimala concluded.
