After a successful loan spell with Sydney FC, Joel King has been called up to the Socceroos for their friendly against World Cup Champions, Argentina.
King made 13 appearances since joining in January from Odense BK in Denmark and nailed down a starting spot from the home game against Perth Glory in mid April until the end of the season.
The left back was part of the Australian squad that took on Argentina at the World Cup and Kind made his National Team debut in Melbourne in a 4-0 victory over Vietnam. Since then he has made a further three appearances and despite not getting on the park in Qatar, took valuable experience away from the tournament.
The Socceroos will take on Argentina in Beijing and will be landing in China this week ahead of the first training session on Saturday.
Fans in Australia will be able to watch the Socceroos take on Argentina live and free on Network 10 and live on Paramount+.
