Jacques Faty is a Senegalese International centre half who joined the Sky Blues in the January transfer window of the 2014/15 season. He has spent nine seasons playing in the French first division (Ligue 1) for Marseille, also having spells at Rennes and Sochaux before joining Turkish Super Lig club Sivasspor and latterly Chinese Super League club Wuhan Zall. Faty made 10 appearances for the Sky Blues in the 2014/15 season and, following the renewal of his contract for a further year, will remain a Sky Blues for the 2015/16 season.
