Ins & Outs | Talay names first squad

Ahead of his debut in the dug-out this Saturday, new Sydney FC Head Coach Ufuk Talay has named his squad for the trip to Adelaide United.

The former Sydney FC Assistant Coach arrived in the building yesterday and has had the tough task of getting to know the players before heading to face the league leaders Adelaide on Saturday night at Coopers Stadium.

Unfortunately for him, Jack Rodwell, Nathan Amanatidis and Max Burgess are still unavailable following their injuries and will spend more time on the sidelines as they recover.

UPDATE: MATTHEW SCARCELLA HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE SQUAD FOR THIS WEEKEND

Having had a success with youth at his previous employers, Talay has included two youngsters, Wataru Kamijo and Joe Lacey in the 20 man squad and could be in line for their Isuzu UTE A-League debuts this weekend with both having already featured on the bench so far.

All eyes will be on Coopers Stadium on Saturday evening as Ufuk Talay looks to change the fortunes of the Sky Blues and get points on the board.
