New Sydney FC Women’s Head Coach has named an 18 women squad for their re-arranged clash with Brisbane Roar Women at Leichhardt Oval on Wednesday evening (7.30pm kick off).
The Sky Blues welcome back in-form American goalkeeper Heather Hinz who missed Saturday’s Sydney Derby through illness.
The experience Bianca Galic boosts the Sky Blues midfield as she returns from an ankle knock which has kept her out of the last three matches.
Galic’s return comes at the right time for Sydney FC with the unfortunate Sarah Hunter set for a six weeks on the sidelines having broken her collarbone in the clash with the Wanderers at the weekend.
She misses out along with young goalkeeper Sofia Fante who makes way for Hinz.
Caley Tallon-Henniker is also promoted to the extended squad to face the Roar.
Shay Hollman remains on the sidelines battling illness, while Nat Tobin (pregnancy), Maddie Caspers (rib) and Indiana Dos Santos (knee) all remain unavailable.
