The squads have been confirmed for this weekend’s clashes at Allianz Stadium and No.2 Sportsground.

It is a great sight for Sydney FC fans with four players returning to the squad after being sidelined with injuries.

It is a welcome sight to see Nathan Amanatidis included in the 20 man squad for this weekend having missed out on the entirety of the start of the Isuzu UTE A-League season due to a groin injury.

The injury was picked up during the Australia Cup campaign and he will be itching to get back out there and make up for lost time.

Women’s

It is a very welcome sight for Ante Juric and Sydney FC fans to see the return of two of their stars against the Jets this Sunday.

Cortnee Vine who injured her hamstring while on international duty last month has been included in the squad and is expected to make the journey north to take on the Novocastrians.

Also coming back into the squad is former Jets player Kirsty Fenton who has overcome an ankle injury which she picked up against Brisbane Roar in Round Two.

Fenton scored the opening goal of the season

Unfortunately for Lucy Johnson, she is set for a prolonged period on the sidelines after it was discovered that she has ruptured ligaments in her ankle after rolling it against Adelaide United.

The club have also mutually terminated the contract of Jessica Seaman after she assisted the club during the AFC Women’s Club Championship and recent Liberty A-League matches. Sydney FC would like to thank Jess for her contribution in Sky Blue.
