Tell us about your recovery, how’s it all progressing?

The recovery is going really well so far, it’s been almost three months now since the surgery and it’s feeling pretty good at the moment.

What stage are you currently at in your recovery?

I have just started running in the past week and a bit, just straight line running and nothing too fast at the moment, but getting back into it.

How is everything feeling?

The body is feeling pretty good, I’ve been in the gym most of the time so the body is feeling strong.

How tough has this injury been?

Yeah it has been a tough one, I wasn’t able to do much on it for the first eight weeks or so, I just had to let it rest and heal, but now that I’m up and about doing stuff with it it’s much better.

Has being in lockdown changed your approach to recovery at all?

Nah lockdown hasn’t really affected me, I’ve been able to go into training for my whole recovery and use all the facilities at training luckily so it hasn’t affected me as much.

When can we expect to see you back?

I expect to be back fully fit before the start of the season and ready for a good season ahead.

What goals have you set yourself?

My goals are to get my body as strong as possible so I don’t get another injury, and also to have a good season ahead.
