The Sky Blues host Brisbane Roar at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium on Friday night in a repeat of their Round 9 encounter in December (kick off 7:30m AEDT).
Forwards Kosta Barbarouses and Aaron Amadi-Holloway are set to lead the line for their respective sides, but who’ll come out on top after 90 minutes?
New Zealand international Kosta Barbarouses has settled into life at Sydney FC well, and has formed a formidable partnership with Golden Boot Adam Le Fondre to lead the Sky Blues’ line.
Amadi-Holloway joined the Roar ahead of the start of the season, and has been a regular fixture in the Roar side, with goals the only think lacking from his contribution up front for Head Coach Robbie Fowler.
The Sky Blues are in form, cruising at the top of the table with a 10 point lead, while Brisbane Roar enter the clash fresh from back-to-back victories over the Wellington Phoenix and Central Coast Mariners respectively.
Let’s look at the ‘Tale of the Tape’ between the two front men.

Having only played two more games than the Welshman, Sydney FC’s Kosta Barbarouses dominates the statistics, with seven goals and five assists to his name propelling the Sky Blues into top spot.
Barbarouses also leads the charts for shots on target and has played nine more key passes in the Sky Blues’ build up compared to his Brisbane counterpart.
Friday night will be another enthralling duel, so make sure you’re at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium for the Sky Blues’ Hyundai A-League clash against the Roar, following the club’s Foxtel Y-League Grand Final at 4:30pm AEDT.
