Sydney FC new signing Adam Griffiths is looking forward to “returning home” as the club continue their pre-season campaign tomorrow night (Tuesday 21st August).

The Sky Blues will play St George Saints FC at WIN Jubilee Oval, not far from where Griffiths plied his junior football for the Menai Hawks.

The Socceroos defender is hoping for a big crowd, that will include family and friends.

“Having grown up in the area, I-m sure a few of my mates won-t miss the chance to come and watch,” Griffiths said. “And I-m looking forward to getting another game under my belt.”

Griffiths also says the game is a prime opportunity for fans to get a glimpse of fellow new signings Yairo Yao and Kruno Lovrek and see a new, more fluent style of play under new Head Coach Ian Crook.

“The boys have been training very hard in anticipation of the new season starting and we want to maintain winning form,” he continued.

The game is Sydney FC-s second match of the pre-season campaign following a 3-1 win over the Macarthur Rams last Tuesday night.

Kicks off is at 7:30 tomorrow.
