Graham Arnold

Graham Arnold was instilled as the Sky Blues Head Coach on the 8th of May 2014 on a three year contract. Arnold had previously worked as an Assistant to Gus Hiddink during Australia’s 2006 FIFA World Cup campaign and became acting Head Coach of the Socceroos after Hiddink’s departure, leading the national team in the 2007 AFC Asian Cup. Arnold again served as an Assistant with the national team, this time with Pim Verbeek, during the Socceroos 2010 FIFA World Cup campaign. In February of 2010, Arnold was appointed Head Coach of the Central Coast Mariners. During his time with the Gosford club Arnold claimed the Premiership in the 2011/12 Hyundai A-League season, Coach of the Year for the 2011/12 season and the Championship in the 2012/13 season. During his first season in charge of the Sky Blues, Arnold guided Sydney FC to a second place finish in the regular season while finishing as runners up in the Hyundai A-League 2015 Grand Final. Arnold recorded a new Hyundai A-League record for remaining undefeated away from home all season and a club record for points accrued in a regular season and goals scored during a regular season.
