Football Federation Australia (FFA) and NAB, together with Sydney FC are proud to announce Alex Gersbach as the November nominee for the Hyundai A-League, NAB Young Footballer of the Year 2015/16 Award.
Gersbach was proud to be named the November nominee for the Hyundai A-League, NAB Young Footballer of the Year 2015/16 Award.
“I feel privileged to be nominated for this award and I’m thankful to NAB for their ongoing support of grassroots football and the A-League.
It would be a great honour to receive the NAB Young Footballer of the Year award, so to be nominated this month is very pleasing. I have to make sure my performances improve every week and I need to keep working hard.
“I would like to nominate Miranda Magpies as my junior club. I spent a lot of my years at that club and I’m grateful for everything they’ve done and everything they continue to do for local football in the shire. It makes me happy that I can help give back to the club that I played with from ages 6-10. Big thanks to NAB.”
The Hyundai A-League NAB Young Footballer of the Year 2015/16 will be announced at the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League 2015/16 Awards Night on Tuesday 26 April 2016.
