Four Sydney FC players have been named in Trevor Morgan’s Australian U20 Young Socceroos squad for the Panda Cup held in China later this month.
The tournament played out of Chengdu in China will feature U19 sides from China, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia and the Australian’s will play each once in a round robin format.
Nathan Amanatidis, Gus Hoefsloot, Tiago Quintal and Tyler Williams are the four names selected for this tournament and will be looking to cement their place in the side ahead of the AFC U20 Asian Cup which is held in China in February to March next year.
Sydney FC have the greatest club representation of this squad and they will be hoping to get important minutes in with the AFC U20 Asian Cup providing the qualifying path for the FIFA U20 World Cup which will be held in Chile in late 2025.
All players will be away during the FIFA International Break and will return to Sydney FC in time for the Sydney Derby on the 23rd of November.
