Ellyse Perry is a dual international sportwomen specialising in both football and cricket. Perry is one of the faces of womens’ sport in Australia and became the first women to appear at both the Womens’ Football and Cricket World Cup. Perry plays mainly as a defender and joined Sydney FC at the start of the Westfield W-League 2012/13 season, going on to claim the Championship in her first season. Perry has made 14 appearances for Sydney FC, scoring one goal, and has played 18 times for the Westfield Matildas.
