Dos Santos takes out Ninja A-League Young Player of the Year at Dolan Warren Awards

Indiana Dos Santos has cemented her spot as one of the best talents in Australian football after she took home the Ninja A-League Women’s Young Player of the Year at the 2024/25 Dolan Warren Awards.

The Dolan Warren Awards recognise the best performances from across the campaign and after making 20 appearances and starting 20 matches, Dos Santos proved that she is worthy of the award.

While it was a tough season on the pitch, Dos Santos was still able to shine through with numerous pieces of individual skill along with three goals and three assists.

The 17-year-old already has two A-League Championships and one Premiership to her name when she broke onto the scene in 2023 as a 15 year old, becoming the youngest player to play for Sydney FC and then score for the club.

This season she followed up more record breaking feats with the title of youngest player to score in a Sydney Derby when she found the net in the meeting with the cross-town rivals at Marconi Stadium.

Dos Santos is contracted at Sydney FC for the next two seasons and during that time she will be looking to hopefully receive her maiden call up to the senior Matildas side which is surely only around the corner.
