Indiana Dos Santos has played her part in the Junior Matildas’ recent AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifying campaign over the last fortnight.
And having won all three matches, Dos Santos and the rest of her Australian team-mates have qualified for the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup.
The 15 year old star burst onto the scene last season and made history becoming the youngest ever Sydney FC player and the youngest ever goalscorer.
Once again, she was at her influential best in Vietnam. The midfielder started two matches against The Philippines and Vietnam and with qualification already secured prior to playing Bangladesh, Dos Santos was rested for the final game which took place all within the space of five days.
Indiana will now return to Sydney and after overcoming her jet lag will re-join her team-mates in preparation for the Women’s Liberty A-League season which kicks off with a blockbuster Sydney Derby at Allianz Stadium on the 14th of October.
Tickets are on sale now for that clash and you can grab them here.
Congratulations Indi and the rest of the Australian U17’s.
